1. Visit to family Compound.

The Balinese culture is unique in the world. From their religion to their lifestyle, for us Westerners everything is a continuous learning. We will take you to visit a compound that is a family group of houses where day-to-day activities take place and you will be able to know, but above all understand, many of their traditions and rituals, which is a very important part of their lifestyle.

This visit will awaken your ability to surprise and you will enjoy the contact with local people, as much as they will enjoy contact with foreigners and share their culture and traditions.

2. Water Temple: Pura Rambut Siwi.

Purify your body, mind and spirit in the ancient pool of the water temple. It is believed that the wate rof these pools, has special magical powers that help to cleanse and purify the body, approaching the divinity. This delicious experience will fill you with vitality, and you will feel how your energy recharges after soaking in its waters, not exactly warm, but magical.

3. Lotus Temple.

Its name is due to its central pond, covered by the most beautiful natural garden of the mystical Lotus flower. It is one of the seven most important temples of Bali and is located in the city of Ubud; its walls are covered by carvings of the goddess of wisdom and Saraswati art.

Some nights you can enjoy dance performances and artistic presentations full of Balinese culture, such as Kecak Dance. Lotus Temple is really a place that mixes culture, art and magic in the environment.

4. Uluwatu Temple.

This temple, one of the seven most important temples in Bali, is located on the top of a cliff and is one of the most majestic places you can visit on the island.

Here you can admire the beautiful landscapes of the Balinese coast, while in the distance this little temple gets lost among the clouds. Let nature  and conquer you! Besides admiring the landscapes, you can live with monkeys or enjoy the best cultural show on the island during the most beautiful sunset.

5. The Sea Temple.

The Sea Temple also known as Tanah Lot is a beautiful example of the Hindu Balinese architecture dedicated to religion and one of the most photographed places on the Island of the Gods. Walking in the water will be a reality on this trip, because we will take a rock path in the sea that gets completely covered when the tide rises; although it is also possible to find a low tide and not have a drop of water on your feet...

Do you dare to challenge the marine snakes that protect this temple (according to the legend, of course) so you can admire its beauty dedicated to the guardians of the sea? It is truly one of the most beautiful places of my favorite archipelago; come on, I’ll take you!

6. Waterfall.

Bali has some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Nestled in the jungle and surrounded by large rocks, these waterfalls will make you feel that you are in an unreal place for its beauty and uniqueness.

There are some more touristic and others more sheltered, but all have their special charm. Prepare to enjoy and feel the fall of the water on your body and receive the energy of nature. You will not want to get out of there!

7. Monkey Forest.

Because in Bali not all the attractions are in the temples, we take you to have fun with the monkeys! These little animals receive you in their territory with great warmth and mischief.

You can interact with them closely and even feed them, but be very careful! because they could use their skills to get on your head, distract you and take your belongings! It is certainly a unique and fun experience that you can not miss in Bali.

8. Rice Terrace in Ubud.

Bali is full of rice fields and it is perhaps, that emerald green color, what makes this place so alive and special. There are several rice terraces on the island and one of the largest is in Ubud. Its spectacular and unique design will captivate your senses. It is strategically located on a hill that will let you enjoy wonderful and breathtaking views of the countryside.

In addition to the incredible visual perspective, you will have the opportunity to meet and live with the farmers who are responsible for planting and harvesting rice and, above all, to maintain the beauty of these unique fields. Its surroundings offer special places to eat or have a coffee, where you can enjoy these terraces for a little longer.

9. Silent Retreat.

Rest, sleep, eat, repeat ... the wonderful "art of nothing". Although it seems easy, when can you do that without being bothered? In Bali Silent Retreat is possible. Besides being able to do yoga and meditation, soak in hot springs, walk through the rice fields and the jungle while feeding your body and soul and connect with your interior.

10. Bike Tour / Volcano.

Taking a bike tour to an active volcano may sound a little crazy ... but it is one of the most incredible experiences you can have and we will take you to do it! The tour lasts approximately two hours, in which you can admire the landscapes and life in Bali before having breakfast and head to refresh yourself in the wonderful waterfalls.

It's the best start to an incredible day! The difficulty will depend on the skills of the group, but their beauty will be unmatched regardless of your sports prowess.

11. Luwak Coffee.

Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world for a very peculiar reason: raw coffee beans are ingested by the Civeta (a carnivorous mammal also known as Civeta de las Palmeras), pass through the intestinal tract and are finally expelled in their feces . When carrying out this process, the coffee beans acquire a peculiar flavor thanks to the stomach enzymes of these animals.

Coffee growers harvest, lightly wash and roast the beans to preserve their flavor. In Bali there are many places that produce this coffee, and you will have the opportunity to visit some to taste this exquisite drink while fall in love with the green jungle and the majestic terraces of rice.

12. Canggu.

It is considered by many as the neighborhood of foreigners, the West Village of Bali. The majority of the inhabitants of this area are not native to Indonesia but have made Bali their home. This area is made up of villas and residential areas mixed with rice fields and beautiful beaches of black volcanic sand.

It is popular among the surfers, and because it is a busy area, it has a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops of all kinds, especially for the international tourists that visit the area ... it is a very hippy chic style.

13. Komune Beach.

We’ll take you to one of the most fun beaches in Bali, where you can do endless activities such as surfing, swimming, snorkeling or do some paddle board. In addition to this, you would want to take a lot of pictures in its frosty black sand beaches!

14. Astrologist / Spiritual guide.

An astrologist or spiritual guide helps us guide our actions so that harmony is preserved, helping us to understand astrology and signs that come naturally in our life, and its influence. It is not about making or reading horoscopes and being governed by them; the work goes further and it is about studying the movement of the stars, constellations, eclipses, and above all, options and choices, so that we understand that it is not only about wanting, but everything is about working.

On this trip you can listen to their words and know, through them, some mysteries of the universe, personally and spiritually. Are you going to stay with the doubt?

15. Beach party at sunset.

The sunset is a magical moment that marks the end of the day and the beginning of the night, and with it an infinity of possibilities.

In Bali, the sunset is synonymous with partying, especially on beaches like Canggu and Seminyak, where DJs light up their spirits with beats of all kinds that you can enjoy with your favorite drinks on the seashore. What more would you want?

16. Diving in Amed.

The beaches of Bali can not only be enjoyed from the surface. Immerse yourself in the depths of Amed, a beach northeast of Bali that is the ideal place for diving enthusiasts and exploring travelers. In this area there are sunken ships that you can see up close, but the most incredible thing is to surround yourself with all the marine fauna of the region where you will see colorful corals and if you are lucky, you will see sea turtles.

This is a coordinated and supervised activity with expert guides in diving that will make you leave the fear in the suitcase. Discover how the marine world is when you are submerged in the blueest of Amed! Ready to dive?

17. The Grave.

Mount Kawi is a small and ancient temple, surrounded by sculptures that are believed to be the tombs of the ancient Balinese kings carved in stones that enchant you with their forms. This place is not very crowded by tourists and to get there we will make a small tour of stairs and rice fields that make this experience something fascinating.

Like everything in Bali, nature is the perfect setting that ends up sharing its beauty with culture and giving us magical moments and unforgettable memories.

18. Rebirth therapy.

Are you ready to free yourself? Rebirth therapy is a journey through your brain and your soul, which will help you to begin a path of freedom from everything that causes you stress, worries, old patterns or old resentments. This therapy is based on a type of continuous and circular breathing that will take you to process your thoughts and feelings in a physical, mental and spiritual way. You will feel how your breath is connected, inhaling and exhaling without pause, which will cause you to feel at peace with yourself and with what surrounds you.

This breathing will bring such amount of oxygen to your cells, that you will invigorate them, making you experience a kind of "high" or transe without any type of chemical substances. The Rebirth will help you visit places in your brain and memory that are not easily accessible. It is an experience that, in order to understand it, you will have to live it, because everyone will experience a different journey. What is certain is that, at the end of the trip, you will feel like you are born again.

19. Lux Decoding Therapy.

Integrating body, mind and spirit is possible through decoding therapy. This therapy is a mixture of rebirth breathing with extreme body massages. The purpose is to strip or decode the body of accumulated emotions from the past, usually traumatic, to recode the old erroneous belief systems in a more proactive and healthy programming.

It helps to work traumas, phobias, sorrows and to transform corporal pains and illnesses created from an emotional level. But we have to warn you: a single session can change your life! You're going to love it!

You can not be in Bali without having a Balinese massage! Combining the Buddhist and Hindu roots, the Balinese massage makes use of traditional techniques to take care of the body and mind. It is the most delicious massage you will have in your life, since it uses not only the hands, but also principles of yoga, acupressure, stretching and reflexology to relax each one of the parts of your body and reach a level of unique and integral harmony.

Through postures, breathing and meditation, the yoga classes that we’ll take you to will make you purify the mind and concentrate in your interior. We will try different disciplines so that you return home wanting to experience more.

Yoga will help you become more aware of your presence in the universe, and begin to build the foundations of your spiritual life to achieve greater personal satisfaction, and above all, self-love and self-acceptance.

24. Kecak Dance.

The fire dance Kecak Dance is a performance that takes place during the night in Uluwatu, just after sunset. This dance tells the dramatic story of a damsel who is stolen from her husband by a demon. The husband, who is nothing less than a prince, will do everything to recover her.

As night falls, the story becomes more intense. You will enjoy this peculiar performance that will trap you in its history and the song of this fantastic ritual will be engraved in your mind.

25. Full Moon / New Moon Ceremony.

Purnama or "Full Moon Day" is a special day for Balinese culture. Although there is a Purnama every month, in April and October it is celebrated with greater intensity. This day is considered ideal for planting fruits and plants, and the harvest is expected to be abundant.

Food offerings are prepared to present to the gods. The Balinese go to the temples in processions that take place especially when the sun begins to fall. It is one of the most special celebrations in Bali that you will love to live up close. It is important to keep this in mind so you avoid visiting the water temples on those days, as they will be more full than usual but you would still have the chance to be part of one of the wonderful ceremonies.

26. Gazing meditation.

The eyes are the window to the soul and have an intense energy, that is why sometimes it is hard for us to stare into someone else's eyes, even when they are loved or close. Through the practice of looking at the eyes, we can work on some intention and by including breathing, greater introspection can be achieved.

This therapy is something difficult to explain, because what happens is very personal ... but the teacher will manage to bring light and help you modify some patterns or feelings through this powerful practice. Lilith's Travel will accompany you to live this type of unique meditation that will literally open your eyes to many internal aspects of your life.

27. Green Village.

Green Village is a community of 18 unique houses of its kind. Hand built with personalized design and an incredible bamboo-based engineering work, these houses are nestled in a serene environment surrounded by nature, but at the same time they have luxury and comfort. To the delight of the visitors, Green Village offers tours to the houses, and if you have any luck, maybe you can even find vacancy and experience life in one of them.

Green School is a school within the Balinese jungle and its main purpose is to educate on environmental sustainability. The architecture is similar to that of Green Village, based on bamboo and completely sustainable, according to the principles of the school. Students develop a strong bond with nature through active learning and integration with the community. Their program will make you fall in love and maybe even encourage you to become a student or volunteer!

28. Commercial Area Ubud / Seminyak.

Shopping is also a must in Bali! Lilith's Travel will take you to our favorite shops and tour the shopping area where you can find an extensive variety of services, products and restaurants.

From yoga outfits, clothes, hippy chic accessories or the perfect souvenir, to visit a variety of restaurants with an international cuisine that has nothing to envy to those from the big cities and not to mention the many yoga studios, spas, hotels and everything what you need and more!

29. Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Because in the journey of Lilith's Travel not everything is yoga pants and adventure, we take you to know the luxury and glamor of the Ritz Hotel. This exclusive resort is located on the cliffs of Bali, with a majestic view of the Indian Ocean.

30. Gastronomy.

Eating is a fundamental part of Lilith's Travel, because love, pleasure and happiness enter through the palate, so the trip to Bali will be full of visits to wonderful restaurants for you to enjoy. From the newest in macrobiotic foods (vegan, organic, Asian, traditional continental and fusion restaurants) to the authentic Balinese food.

The cuisine of Bali reflects the diversity of Indonesia by using rice, seasoning and ingredients from the area as a base in their dishes. Many of the stews are pork-based, but you can also enjoy seafood, meat, vegetables and rice as well as cooked or fried rice noodles, fruit or vegetable salads; spices, coconut sauce, peanut sauce and other delicacies that will remain in your sensory memory. From the warungs (small local restaurants) to restaurants with a Michelin star, Bali will give you the pleasure of eating like the goddesses.

31. Akasha.

Can you imagine a hippy commune of the seventies, but where the participants are the creator of Google, Facebook, Uber, etc.? Akasha is something like that, an organic restaurant where you experience the true "clean eating", sown and harvested in harmony with the environment. They become a school of alternative therapies with weekly festivals, and when the sun goes down, it gives us the most unusual parties animated by the best DJs from Ecstatic Dance and Five Rhythms, who will seek to connect with your being through dance and music.

Its pool in the middle of rice fields is available to all visitors, as well as their cabins, as taken from the story of the Smurfs, where they offer the possibility of spending a different night or a stay. It is also the perfect place to organize your own retreat or workshop.

32. Accommodation.

In Bali there are different forms of accommodation, the main ones being villas, hotels or traditional Compound housing. The villas are a mix of traditional Balinese architecture with modern amenities and more convenience. The hotels have all the comforts of a traditional hotel, surrounded by Balinese flora and fauna.

The Compound is the traditional house in Bali that is governed by the standards of Hindu and Balinese beliefs to be in harmony with the universe, with its houses placed around the family temple. Here you will stay in a private house within the home of a Balinese family, what we know as an annex or guest house. You will be able to see more closely the routine of the premises, share with the family, get involved with the country, its culture and live the experience as a local.

33. Private Beach Clubs.

Bali's private beach clubs are the perfect place to spend a relaxing day, enjoying the beach, the pool, taking photos, socializing, doing some water sport and living a real trip to paradise. These are my favorites and I will love taking them to you:

Sunday Beach: Here every day is Sunday and it's perfect! The beach is amazing and if you feel like doing more than resting, they have kayaks and paddle boards to spend some time entertaining in the water (if the weather and the tide allow it). The best way to end the day? At dusk there is a bonfire that will guide you to say goodbye to the day while your mind gets lost in the golden and red colors of the sunset. The nostalgia and the adventure meet in this magic moment!

La Brisa: This beach club has been carefully designed to please the eye ... and also, the heart. You will fall in love with the design of its facilities! As a plus, the food and drinks are amazing and we can enjoy a relaxing moment, taking pictures, enjoying the pool, watching the surfers and connecting with your interior surrounded by energy and happiness in this beautiful place.

The Edge: A pool with a glass wall and a spectacular view of the cliff ... I can almost say that the photos do not do justice to this beautiful place that also has amazing drinks and is perfect to spend a while away from everyone and getting close to yourself . Come to Bali and check it out!

34. Life in Bali.

Bali is a place like no other ... you can find people of all nationalities who come to the "Island of the Gods" with a different vision of how to live and explore it, but almost always, with the same intention to leave their comfort zone , fulfill a dream and / or seek a change of life, because Bali is the island of closures and beginning of cycles, and for many, the island of the chosen ones. The surfer finds the perfect waves in the Indian Ocean. The spiritual seeker finds the best therapies and the highest energy on the planet to connect with himself and God, in body, mind and spirit. The yogi, expert or beginner finds in the best studies for this practice, his breathing and the feats that his body needs to achieve meditation.

The hippy chic will fall in love with the boutiques of Bali and the relaxed but modern and classy style you will find in the streets, restaurants, beach parties and windows. Sustainable ecologists, vegans and health conscious have the best fields and organic farms where to continue working for the planet earth; the best vegetarian, vegan and organic food in the world, and the most incredible sustainable construction made entirely of bamboo, including its internationally famous Green School that attracts thousands of expats to the island for their children to study and grow with a different social conscience.

The digital nomad will find inspiration in the peace and quiet of the beaches or the jungle and in its beautiful sunsets, while working with advanced technology in its cozy co-working spaces, as well as courses, workshops and professionals in the digital world as in any city. The adventurer has thousands of adrenaline shots, from active volcanoes to the best places to climb mountains, to an incredible world to explore under the sea. And the traditional tourist will live an unforgettable experience in its many luxurious resorts and spas. What kind of traveler are you? Because Lilith's Travel will take you to know them all from the perspective of the local people.
