madrid

The Spanish city will be our meeting place and starting point of this incredible trip. Madrid will welcome us for one night on December 26, to leave on the 27 to the Moroccan city of Tanger.

We will return to Madrid via Marrakesh on January 10 for each traveler to return to their destination of departure.

Tanger

Tanger is one of the largest and most important cities in Morocco, especially because of its proximity to Spain. It is also the second industrial center of the country with sectors of the textile, chemical, mechanical, metallurgical and navy industries. Although we will not tour the city, Tanger will be your first meeting with Morocco because here is the Ibn-Battuta airport, which we will fly from Madrid and from where we will start this adventure in the Lilith's Travel style.

assilah

It is located in the north of Morocco, 46 km from Tanger. This city is of Phoenician origin; later it was under the Portuguese power, to finally become Spanish territory and proclaim itself the kingdom of Morocco. The passage of the Spaniards can be felt in its streets, with diverse localities that perfectly handle the language, also with the presence of the many tourists that arrive daily from the neighboring country, and the architectural gems of which they are owners, making Assilah a common destiny between the high breed society and the Moroccan high society.

In Asilah we will find one of the best-kept, cleanest and most attractive medinas in Morocco. The beaches of Assilah will captivate you; more than 60 kms of beaches of the Atlantic coast with clean and crystal clear waters that are waiting for you to see the sun hide at sunset; One of the most impressive twilights that you will see in your life. Assilah will be a shortstop but the most wonderful way to start exploring this country of contrasts.

Chefchaouen

You have never seen a color blue as pretty as the one in Chefchaouen. This city is located in the northwest of Morocco and its original inhabitants were exiled Muslims and Jews from Andalusia, so the city has great resemblance to Andalucian villages.

For centuries, Chaouen, as it is commonly called among locals, was considered a sacred city, so the access to foreigners was forbidden which allowed the preservation of its medieval style, cobbled and narrow streets and endless charming corners.

The blue of the houses in different shades will fascinate you, and its light will make you feel that you are somewhere in the Mediterranean ... without the clear sea, but surrounded by mountains, what makes The Blue Pearl a paradise for lovers of nature and hiking. The picturesqueness of this place attracts artists from all over the world, and its romantic atmosphere has made it the favorite destination for locals to enjoy their honeymoon. It is a unique town that you will not want to leave.

ouarzazat

It is a city in southern Morocco known as The door of the Desert. Here you will find places full of history and small markets where you will have to put into practice your best bargaining tactics.

merzouga

It is a small town in the southeast of Morocco and the ideal place to be in contact with the majestic Sahara desert. Morocco has two deserts, but it is in Merzouga where you can get in touch with the great dunes that you dreamed as a child without having to travel long distances in 4x4 to reach them. Because of this and its proximity to Marrakech may be a bit more touristy than Zagora, but the desert is so big that there is room for everyone.

In this place, Lilith's Travel has prepared activities that will fascinate you.

essaouria

If you are a fan of Game of Thrones, you will love knowing that the Medina of Essaouira was one of the locations for the series in 2012. This same medina was designated by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. If that is not enough, Lilith's Travel takes you to live an exceptional experience in one of the cities with more life and art of Morocco, host of the International Gnawa Music Festival that drags more than half a million people annually to this small destination.

This port city, located on the western coast of the Atlantic, was a common site for Phoenicians and Portuguese who explored the coast and built several ports, for that reason the quality of its seafood is without a doubt exceptional, and its artistic and musical movement dating back from the era of Jimmy Hendrix and the hippie communes, make it one of the most international, open and interesting places in the country, without losing its essence as a charming town.

The people of Essaouira are without a doubt my favorite in the country, and the possibility of doing water sports such as surfing and kitesurfing is a great attraction for our trip. In Essaouira we can immerse ourselves in the life of the place and its markets - where you can buy much more tranquility than in the great Marrakesh. We will visit cooperatives that help the women help and share with them, we will lose ourselves in a luxurious Hotel & Spa hidden among the mountains outside this little paradise, we will walk through its waterfalls and mountains and we will know about its history, music, art, gastronomy, and its touch of international flavor.
